Meet our Dentists
Dr. Fernando Martinez
Dr. Fernando L. Martinez graduated from Duke University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then spent an additional year as a research fellow in neurobiology before continuing his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1997 and membership in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society. As a dental student, Dr. Martinez furthered his research experience by studying infection control in the practice of orthodontics, receiving an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for his work to establish a public dental clinic for underserved patients in North Carolina.
